Chasing 244 at the Gaddafi Stadium, Pakistan lost three wickets inside the first ten overs before a patient middle-order rebuild steadied the innings.
The winning runs came off the third ball of the final over, sparking celebrations in a stadium that had been near silent twenty minutes earlier.
